Debbie Garcia, CMP, spent more than two decades in the events industry — managing conference services, leading catering sales for hotel brands, and sourcing events for global organizations — before founding virsitour to revolutionize the way people plan and experience professional gatherings.  In every role, she saw the same hurdles. Planners fighting time, travel, and budget constraints just to place the right events in the right locations. Suppliers burning hours on RFPs for events that were never the right fit to begin with. An industry running on spreadsheets, email threads, and expensive site visits — when there had to be a better way. 

In virsitour, she built that better way. Planners access a rich platform of listings — hotels, venues, event services, and destinations — with the videos and visuals they need to decide with confidence. Suppliers connect directly with informed, interested planners.  With extensive connections across the venue, audiovisual, and transportation industries, and partnerships with global event experts, Debbie understands the many angles of this industry — and the diverse needs of the professionals who run it.
