I recently had the privilege of attending a beautifully curated FAM trip in Park City, Utah—four full days of stunning views, exceptional hospitality, immersive experiences, and a deep dive into everything this destination has to offer for meetings and events.
We toured 12+ properties, rode gondolas and chairlifts, connected with transportation teams, DMCs, resorts, and venues. We hiked, laughed, clinked glasses, and even rode a bobsled at the Utah Olympic Park. It was everything a planner could hope for.
And as I sat on the plane home, tired but inspired, one big thought kept coming to mind:
What happens next?

The Post-FAM Fog
If you’re a planner, you know this moment well. You come back from a FAM or trade show energized, grateful, and full of ideas. You want to share everything you experienced with your stakeholders, but real life hits fast. Your inbox is overflowing. Your clients are waiting. You’re playing catch-up before your suitcase is even unpacked.
And then… the fog sets in.
Where was that amazing offsite venue again?
Who handled transportation on day three?
Which hotel had the private dining room with that mountain view?
Where did I put that USB drive? That business card? That video file?
Despite all the effort CVBs and DMOs put into creating meaningful experiences—and all the heartfelt hospitality we planners receive—so much of it risks getting lost in the shuffle.
Not because we don’t care.
But because there isn’t an easy system to help us remember, revisit, and act.

We Want to Give Back
One thing people don’t always realize about planners is that we’re fiercely loyal and deeply appreciative. When a destination goes above and beyond, we want to give back. We want to bring programs, refer clients, send RFPs, and showcase your city in the best light possible.
But it has to be easy.
Our stakeholders weren’t on the FAM. They didn’t feel the energy or see the view. They want visual comparisons, clear options, and quick decisions. We need a way to bring the magic of what we saw back to them—in a digestible, professional, and organized way.
Enter: Virsitour
That’s why I created virsitour—a digital space where planners and destinations can finally connect in a more useful way.
Virsitour helps planners remember what they saw. It gives destinations a lasting footprint after the FAM ends. With virtual site tours, videos, side-by-side comparison tools, and a built-in RFP system, we can easily:
- Revisit the hotels, venues, and services we experienced
- Organize and compare the options to present to our clients
- Submit RFPs directly to the suppliers we met
- Share curated options that align with our event vision
It’s how we take the momentum of a well-produced FAM and turn it into meaningful results—bookings, partnerships, and unforgettable events.

CVBs & DMOs: Let’s Shine Together
You spend so much time crafting the perfect itinerary, selecting just the right suppliers, and making sure every planner feels seen and valued. We see you. We feel it. We want to make you shine.
Virsitour helps keep that connection going—so your destination isn’t just a moment in time, but a part of the full planning journey.
Because what happens next shouldn’t be confusion.
It should be connection, action, and collaboration.

If you’re a destination partner, let’s talk about how virsitour can support your efforts and make your FAMs work harder for everyone involved.
And if you’re a planner, it’s time to stop digging through folders and flash drives. There’s a better way to source smarter—and virsitour is it.
